Where this list comes from

Type is taken from the details each retailer publishes for a product. Where a retailer gives none, it is read from the product's name and description. Preferences come from the claims each retailer lists (vegan, cruelty-free, oil-free, non-comedogenic, clean), the SPF in the product name, and the published ingredient list, which decides fragrance, drying alcohol, silicones and parabens. 227 foundations have no non-comedogenic claim and are left out of this list.

The default order is by number of reviews across the retailers that sell each product. Make Up For Ever HD Skin Matte Velvet Blurring Powder Foundation has the most, with 1,695.
