Where this list comes from

Type, coverage, finish, skin type and formulation are taken from the details each retailer publishes for a product. Where a retailer gives none, they are read from the product's name and description. Preferences come from the claims each retailer lists (vegan, cruelty-free, oil-free, non-comedogenic, clean), the SPF in the product name, and the published ingredient list, which decides fragrance, drying alcohol, silicones and parabens. 13 foundations have no ingredient list and no fragrance-free claim and are left out of this list. 14 foundations have no ingredient list and no alcohol-free claim and are left out of this list.

The default order is by number of reviews across the retailers that sell each product. NARS Light Reflecting Foundation has the most, with 6,795.
